About CUSINIUM

We are Lena and Alex, and Ivan, our son. The same two people choose what the brand sells, write the descriptions on this site, read the reviews and answer the email. That keeps the range small and the decisions slow, which suits us. We would rather explain one product properly than list twenty we have never held.

Every product is used by us before it goes on sale, and we ask three questions about it. Would I enjoy using this? Is there anything here that can be improved? Would I be grateful to whoever made it for me? If the last answer is no, the product does not ship, and we go back to the sample stage. Honesty is the cheapest thing a small business owns, and the easiest one to lose.

We try not to sell a single object when what someone needs is the whole set. An ice scoop on its own leaves you hunting for somewhere to keep it, so ours comes with a holder, and the screws to mount it are in the box. The popcorn scoop is sold with the dredge, because the two are used one after the other. The griddle cleaning kit has thirty-one pieces, since cleaning a griddle takes more than a scraper. Bed stoppers come with non-slip pads and screws. It is the same idea every time: finish the job rather than half of it.

We read every review of every product, including the ones that are unpleasant to read. Most changes to a pack start there. Customer email is answered by us, not by a service, and we are glad every time one of them says the thing arrived and was liked.

The range is built in sizes rather than in one-off items: shakers of the same body in several capacities, scoops and buckets stepped by volume, disposables in the pack sizes a kitchen actually orders.
